The Ultimate Sausage Bap with Honey Mustard

Indulgent, peppery sausage bap, grilled onions & a smack of heaven sent Honey Mustard!

Total time: 15 minutes

 

  • Ingredients:
      • 6 herby pork sausages
      • 2 ciabatta rolls
      • 2 red onions
      • 30ml balsamic vinegar
      • 30ml balsamic sweet drizzle
      • Olive oil
      • 40g Holy Moly Honey Mustard
  • Method:
      1. Grill/fry your herby sausages as per the packet instructions.
      2. Finely slice the red onions and fry on a medium (not high) heat in the olive oil for 5 minutes.
      3. Add the balsamic vinegar and continue to cook for a further 3 minutes.
      4. Add a dash of the balsamic sweet drizzle and cook for another 2 minutes.  Don’t allow this to burn.  You want to retain crunch and colour.
      5. Remove onions from the heat when they are cooked but before they loose their colour and bite.
      6. Lightly toast both halves of the ciabatta with olive oil.
      7. Spread the unctuous onion mix over the bottom half.
      8. Butterfly the cooked sausages in half and put on top of the onions mix.
      9. Glug the Holy Moly Honey Mustard over the sausages.
