A tale of two guys who love healthy, natural, homemade dips. But there was a problem. We didn’t always have time to make our own, but the supermarket options didn’t taste anything like homemade. Plus, they were full of nasties. So we decided to make a better kind of dip……
A better kind of dip
Our guiding principle was to create dips that taste as good as homemade. That meant only using ingredients we’d use ourselves at home. So no dried onion or powdered chilli. No dairy. No gluten, or added sugar. And absolutely no artificial preservatives.
Our search for the very best ingredients took us to the home of the Avocado, Mexico. Here we partnered with a family-owned avocado orchard, who’s beautiful creamy Hass avocados are left to ripen in the sun. The moment they’re perfect ripe, the avocados are hand picked, hand scooped, and combined with local fresh ingredients. It’s a labour of love, but you can notice the difference.
Of course, leaving out artificial preservatives had it’s practical issues. We needed to find a better way of packaging our dips, so that they stay fresh – without the nasties. The answer lay in the very latest packaging technology. It means that we don’t need to use ANY preservatives, and all the goodness and nutritional value of our natural ingredients are locked in.
