Ready to up your ‘avocado-on-toast’ game? Try swapping in these range of toppings to add even more flavour to your day.

  • Grilled Mushroom & Lamp Lettuce
  • Roasted Tomato & Pesto
  • Naked with Salt, Pepper & Olive Oil
  • Fig, Vegan Feta & Thyme

Serves: 1

Time: 10-15 minutes (depending on chosen topping) 

 

  • Method & ingredients:

    • Base:

      Toast with Holy Moly Smashed Avocado on top

      Toppings:

      Grilled Mushroom & Lamp Lettuce:
      1. Slice 2 brown mushrooms thinly and season with salt and pepper.
      2. Then fry them in a little oil. 
      3. Place them on the toast and top with fresh salad. 
      Roasted Tomato & Pesto
      1. Roast a handful of cherry tomatoes in a pan with a little olive oil until they split open.
      2. Season with pepper, then place it on top of the toast. 
      3. Add a teaspoon of basil pesto on top and serve. 
      Naked with Salt, Pepper & Olive Oil
      1. Use good quality flaky sea salt and drizzle with olive oil. 
      Fig, Vegan Feta & Thyme
      1. Slice the fig lengthwise and place 3 slices on the toast.
      2. Top with fresh thyme, vegan feta cheese and maple syrup.
