For your next night in, look no further than these loaded fries. So good you’ll never want your fries any other way again. Our Margherita Cheese is rich with cheddar and mozzarella, creamy with rich tomato and punch with garlic, basil and oregano – perfect for dunkin’.
Serves: 2 as a small meal, or 4 as a side Total time: 20 minutes
Cook the french fries according to instructions on the packet, either in the oven or air-fryer.
Place a large frying pan on a medium to high heat and when hot, add the sunflower oil then carefully place bacon in the pan. Cook on both sides till crisp, around 5 minutes, turning the heat down if the bacon becomes too dark. Remove to a plate with kitchen paper and when cool enough to handle, cut into small pieces.
Finely chop the chives and drain the gherkins. Heat the Margherita Cheese in a microwave as per the instructions on the cardboard sleeve. Be careful, it'll be really hot once heated.
As soon as the french fries are ready, place them on a plate or bowl and drizzle with the hot Margherita Cheese. Top with small spoonfuls of sour cream, then scatter the bacon, chives and gherkins over the top.
